Griffin Gallery invites you to join the UAL Postgraduate Community for a series of 3 events.

Engine ChatChat and Griffin Gallery in partnership with the Postgraduate Community have created an opportunity for 12 UAL Postgraduate students and alumni to take part in a series of 3 informal and constructive peer crits, exploring work around the theme of Constructing Place.

This series of critiques will be contextualized by two Griffin Gallery exhibitions: I Lost My Heart to a Starship Trooper and Architecture as Metaphor.

Facilitated by Elizabeth Murton, an artist and graduate from Goldsmiths, with 10 years experience of bringing artists together for 'Engine ChatChat', the sessions will be informal and stimulating, with constructive conversation encouraged.

HOW IT WORKS:

Twelve artists will attend all 3 sessions.

Session 1

22 February at 6.30pm. An introduction to each other and the Griffin Gallery including a 5 minute presentation about your practice, a chance to see the current exhibition and conversation over some light refreshments.

Session 2

15 March at 6.30pm. Six artists present their work, with a longer period of time to share and get feedback.

Session 3

19 April at 6.30pm. Six artists present their work, with a longer period of time to share and get feedback.

Please RSVP on the Galleries website if you would like to attend any of the talks
